Romalies Maurice Jones, Sr.

Romalies Maurice Jones, Sr. departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the age of 63. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Romalies was a merchant seamen with Seafarers International Union. Devoted father of Romalies Jones, Jr., An’Janae Jones, and Melissa Collins. Son of the late Roy, Sr. and Gloria D. Jones. Brother of Royal Archie Jones, Jr., Earl Simmons, Constance Carter, and Erica Jones. Former husband of Connie Jones, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Mt. Zion B.C. Cemetery-Ama, LA.
